• The 40" plug aerator is made of black powder coated steel and the plug aerator is towed by a garden tractor. It has a convenient weight tray that allows you to add weight as needed for optimum performance.
• Its 24 galvanized and ground plug coring knife hollow teeth will penetrate your grass area up to 2 inches and have a working width of 101 cm (40 inches). The best time to use the aerator is when turf moisture content is high. Using the towed plug aerator will allow air, moisture and nutrients to enter the grass root system while reducing soil compaction. Six steel spike discs provide soil aeration up to 2 inches deep, creating reservoirs that bring oxygen, fertilizer and water into the root zone.
• The aerator is equipped with 10-inch pneumatic tires for easy transport, and a cantilevered handle allows you to quickly adjust work and transport.
